Our trunk system operates in the
220-222 MHz frequency band. Coverage from a single
tower site reliably extends out to 1,200 square miles,
even over difficult terrain—a great advantage compared
to the 200 to 300 square mile range typical 800-900
MHz systems. There are no other operators sharing
these channels within 75 Air Miles of New York City.
Unlike 800/900 MHz bands, 220 MHz experiences little
or no interference. Our license is for our exclusive
use of the channels, guaranteeing full control over
usage.

Comtran 220 MHz Narrow Band Trunk Systems are fully
compatible with new CX2 (SEA) ESP-604 radio models
and legacy ESP-504/ESP-520 models. We sell, lease,
service and install new and reconditioned radios.

York City Trunk System. We also own and operate 220
MHz narrow band trunk systems on Long Island. Our
Coverage area extends from Patchogue East to Montauk
Point NY, covering both the North and South Forks
of Long Island.

CX2 Technologies voice
and data capable dispatch radio systems meet the demanding
requirements of today's SMR operators and users. At
the heart of the system is the ESP604™, a microprocessor-controlled
dash mount transceiver designed for 220-222 MHz operation.
The unit employs a narrowband linear modulation technique
which allows for more efficient use of the radio spectrum
than conventional frequency modulation (FM).
AVL-604 is an upgrade
feature to the ESP600 Series two-way radio and expands
the capabilities for fleets that require vehicle tracking
and CAD workstation integration. With the addition
of the GPS receiver, the ESP604 broadcasts the latitude,
longitude, time, date, speed and bearing of the vehicle.
This information is received by a base radio and can
be displayed by Vehicle Tracking Software. Call us
