During
an emergency, specially provided Emergency
Radios will allow a person to communicate
with either the normal Building Radio System
or the Emergency Traffic Radio System. When
either the Building Radio System or the
Emergency Traffic Radio System receives
a signal from any of the Emergency portables,
it will forward the signal wirelessly to
the Emergency Interface, which will then
send the signal out over a Private
Only Radio Frequency. In the receiving
building, the signal is received by the
Emergency Interface and then sent wirelessly
to either the In-Building Radio System or
the Emergency Traffic Radio System, and
then to the emergency portables in the building.
Please note that this is a two way system
in that any building in the system can receive
and transmit to any other building within
the System.
